Hi dear Qualitas' friends,
Team Qualitas will run, walk or jog a 5K on November 3rd to raise funds to expand the workshops Get ready: migratory processes and my money and Get Ready: family emergency and financial action plan to more Hispanic immigrant families.
As you may know, family separation crisis at the US-Mexico border -which has brought national attention to the plight of immigrant families- it's not happening only by the south border but takes place daily across the country. With your support we will prepare these families:
- to know their rights
- to be prepared and protect their families
- to be ready with their documents in case they face detention
- and most importantly the ability to create a family emergency and safety plan
